Dictionaries Donated!

CFO of High Country Bank and past president of the Salida Rotary Tom Mansheim receives a big hug from Longfellow Elementary School third-graders. The Salida Rotary Club members donated new dictionaries to all Longfellow and Montessori third-grade students. The dictionary donations have been a Rotary tradition for more than 10 years. 



High Country Bank Canon City is a proud supporter of the Fremont County Boys & Girls Club


High Country Bank in Canon City, CO issued a challenge to all the local financial institutions to raise the most funds for the fourth annual "Bowl for Great Futures" tournament benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County. Financial institutions that accepted the challenge were Credit Union of Colorado, Power Credit Union, SunWest Credit Union, Canon National Bank, Sunflower Bank, Pueblo Bank & Trust and US Bank.

High Country Bank was the First Place winner on Saturday, November 7th with a total of $3,460.00 raised! Second Place went to Credit Union of CO with over $1,100.00 and Third Place went to Power Credit Union with over $600.00 raised for the event.

October Charity of the Month Habitat for Humanity




The two Salida offices and the Buena Vista Branch combinedresources and selected Chaffee County’s Habitat for Humanity as our OctoberCharity of the Month. A total of $467.90 was collected and donated to this verymeaningful and local group. Veterans Appreciation Luncheon at High Country Bank Buena Vista Nov. 13th, 2015.




The Buena Vista Branch held its 3rd Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon on November 13th, 2015. Approximately 90 quests attended . Homemade soups, breads and desserts were made and served by Bank Employees. The branch was decorated in patriotic and military fashion further enhancing our appreciation of our local veterans.
